Description | The Dinosaur Discovery Museum of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is the only museum to focus on the link between meat-eating dinosaurs and modern day birds. It is the largest collection of therapods - including T-rex! In association with the Carthage College Institute of Paleontology and its on-site laboratory, the museum presents ongoing research in the study of dinosaurs.
In addition to the life-size dinosaur casts, kids will love the interactive exhibit, Little Clint: The Story of a Baby Dinosaur. Kids of all ages can dig for fossils, conduct experiments in the lab, and create their own museum display.
The museum also features a gift shop filled with dinosaur themed toys and gifts. Located between Chicago and Milwaukee, the Dinosaur Discovery Museum is within walking distance to the Metra train station, shopping, dining and two other museums. |
